A little Progress

Gallery is coming along, few pieces on the wall and its great to see a little progress, Rosco Kermode will have all his work up by the end of the week, its a shame I have a skate shoot on I would have liked to be there. We are aiming to be open next week some time with the false walls done and all the shop fittings completed, after that we will have a grand belated opening which will be great chance to catch up with friends and family and will give Shannon, Rosco, Amanda and myself all a chance to actually be in the country at the one time.

Kalani - Skate

This is on behalf of my oldest son Kalani, yes it was shot and edited by me and I must say not very well, I will be sticking to stills photography for sure - Kalani's mates and family enjoy. Sometimes the video shows up sometimes it does not its a pain in the ass may have to try another blog site if this keeps happening.

Gallery

Well the Sitting Room Gallery is starting to take some shape with 70% of the inside done and the signage getting finalized, its great to have Fitzgeralds Photo Imaging, Margaret River Sign Co, MRBG and a new to be released magazine Soggybones coming on board as partners. The gallery is going to feature on a full time basis Rosco Kermode's incredible art, Shannon Conway's underwater photography, Calvin Best's web media, Amanda Conway's jewelry and I will put in a few photos myself of the Ocean's power.

Surf Photography

I am new to this blog business so I am just writing a quick sample to see if it works and loads up:

The art of surf photography means actually shooting from the water which I cannot do at the moment due to a recent visit to the surgeon to get my ligaments re-attached should see the salt water around March if all goes well.

The positive to this is we have a had a lot of time to put into a new venture being the Sitting Room Gallery which will focus on photography/lifestyle/art and web media plus hold exhibitions for local talents, we are hoping for a late January opening if all goes to plan - www.sittingroom.com.au
